“Nescio quid futurum sed quia futurum tenet” – “I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.”Students and faculty gathered around the redbud tree planted on campus in 2010 in memory of Mrs. Peggy Hill, beloved Latin teacher. Mrs. Hill came to The Master’s School in 1998 as a fifth grade teacher. During that time she developed the school’s Latin curriculum. She went on to become the school’s Latin teacher and taught the classical language to the students in grades 4 and up, until 2009. Mrs. Hill had great passion for the school, her students and the Latin language; as well as a great love for the Lord. A birdhouse with a plaque was hung in the tree in celebration of Mrs. Hill’s birthday today, April 27th. ...

Fifth graders visited Lady Bird Johnson's Wildflower Center to see 650 native Texas plant species in the gardens, meadows, and along the nature trails. They viewed displayed art and learned about Mrs. Johnson as well as native plant research. ...
