The Master’s School will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, September 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  This will be a come and go event allowing our families, friends, and those interested in The Master’s School an opportunity to meet teachers and view classrooms.

Prayer Please pray for Robert Longoria’s grandfather, Bob Owens, will be leaving for MD Anderson tomorrow given he has the strength to travel.  Please pray that the cancer has not spread and that it will be treatable.

ACSI Speech Meet Congratulations to all of the students who represented The Master’s School in the 2011 ACSI Speech Meet last Saturday.  Please see the attached list of Speech Meet results.

ACSI Art Festival – 5^th, 6^th and 7^th grade students who are participating in the ACSI Art Festival will attend the event this Friday.  Parents should look for an e-mail with details from Mrs. Wheaton.

Kindergarten Applications are currently being accepted for the 2011-2012 school year.

Scholarship Applications are available in the school office.  In order to receive a scholarship application, tuition accounts must be in good standing.  Please note that the deadline for submission of scholarship applications is April 18, 2011. In order to receive a scholarship award, the student must be enrolled for the 2011-2012 school year.  Please see Mrs. Blue for further information.

Garage Sale A garage sale to benefit the school is being organized on Saturday, May 7^th,  at Old Mill Business Park (101 Uhland Road).  See attachments for details and volunteer sign up times

Hope and Jars Fundraising Breakfast, Thursday, March 3, 2011, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., Dick’s Classic Car Garage

This event is a one hour breakfast presentation for adults.  Guests will be inspired about the school’s mission and asked to support it financially.  All school families are welcome.  Please invite any guests who may be interested in supporting the mission of The Master’s School.  RSVP by calling or e-mailing the office.

Mr. Crabill’s third grade students will participate in the 12:15 p.m. presentation of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas 175th-anniversary celebration of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence on Wednesday, March 2^nd at the San Marcos Public Library.  Download the flyer for details.

Honor Roll Congratulations to students in grades 3-7 who made the 2^nd trimester Honor Roll.  Honor Roll certificates will be presented to these students in chapel this Friday.  Honor Roll List.

Youth Art Month- The Master’s School has 10 works of art which will be on exhibit at the San Marcos Activity Center Walker’s Gallery during the month of March. Come see The Master’s School students’ artwork as well as artwork from K-12 students from throughout San Marcos.

Campus Expansion The Master’s School has access to four buildings that need to be moved.  The buildings are wood framed, with metal siding and roofs, and some with shingled roofs.  Two of them are 24’x64’ and two are 24’x32’.  They are clear span, so the interior walls could be arranged to any specifications.  If you are interested in purchasing one of these buildings, please contact Tim Kardosz at 512.627.3220.  The sale of these buildings will fund the opportunity to acquire and move two more buildings to our campus for our middle school.

Extracurricular Activities Flyers offering extracurricular activities available to students during spring break  are available in the school office.
