May 21, 2018

May 22   Field Day - 8:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m. - Students wear navy blue t-shirt (TMS or other) and

appropriate shorts, as well as shoes for running, competing and that get can get WET!

May 22   Hot Lunch and Sno-Cones (All classes have lunch at 12:00 p.m., including kindergarten)

May 22   Talent Show - MPB - 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

May 23   Fine Arts Day Practice-Students dropped off at First Baptist Church SM between 8:15-8:30

May 24   Awards Assembly (Character Awards and 4th Quarter Honor Roll)

May 24   Report Cards sent home

May 25   Fine Arts Day - Students arrive at 9:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church SM

                                   Noon Dismissal-No After School Care

May 25   End of School Swimming Party at Country Estates Pool - 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

                      (this is a PTC sponsored event and siblings are invited to attend)

Praise the Lord for another wonderful year at The Master’s School!  Praise Him for his provision; great is his faithfulness.  

Prayer  Please pray for good health and physical stamina for students, faculty, staff and families as we enjoy this last busy week of school.  Pray for safety and rest over the summer for all.  Pray for those leaving the school this year, that they feel love and acceptance in their new surroundings as they have been loved and accepted at The Master’s School.   

HELP WANTED!The After School Program (ASP) needs assistance the last week of school to work alongside Ms. Baxter. Dates and times are May 21 through 24; 3:15 - 5:30. Pay is $25 each day.

FIELD DAY!! May 22nd - 8:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m. - Students wear navy blue t-shirt (TMS or other) and

appropriate shorts, as well as shoes for running, competing and that get can get WET!

This is a classroom event, and children not enrolled in the school may not attend.  Adult guests are invited to bring chairs and umbrellas and sit in designated spectator area.  Come cheer the teams!

 

TMS Talent Show  - Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Participating students may bring change of clothes prior to their performances.  This event is open to guests of all ages.  

 

All School Practice for Fine Arts Day -  All students must be dropped off at First Baptist Church, 325 W. McCarty Lane on Wednesday, May 23rd, between 8:15 - 8:30 a.m. for all school practice.  Students will be shuttled back to school by bus.

Awards ChapelThursday, May 24th, 8:10 a.m. in the MPB, Character Awards will be presented to each student, grades K-7, as well as 4th Quarter Honor Roll certificates for grades 3-7.  

Fine Arts Day  This annual program will take place on Friday, May 25th at First Baptist Church, 325 W. McCarty Lane.  Students are to arrive at FBC at 9:00 a.m. and meet their teachers.  Guests are invited to view students’ artwork in the foyer from 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.  The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. with recitations and performances by students in each class, K - 7.  After a brief intermission, academic awards will be presented and students will be dismissed by 12:00 p.m.  There will be no After School Program.  If you are not able to attend the program, please plan to pick up your child at First Baptist Church by 12:15 p.m.

No food or drinks are allowed in the chapel.  Do not bring end of the year treats or gifts for your child’s class.

Library Books  All library books, other than those that are on required summer reading lists, are currently due.  Students who are not enrolled for the 2018-2019 school year must return ALL books.  Final report cards and student records will not be released to students with outstanding library books.

 

 

Yearbook Ordersare due by May 31, 2018.   Orders may be turned in to the school office with $17.00 cash or check payable to The Master’s School; or placed online at ybpay.lifetouch.com using Yearbook ID Code 11901618.

Photos Needed for the 2017-2018 Yearbook!  Please share your photos of school events for use in the school yearbook.  Please send any unaltered, unedited photos to McDonaldM@gmail.com for consideration.

Family Business Directory A privilege we give our families is the “Family Business Directory” page on our website.  This is a place to advertise and share businesses owned by the immediate family of TMS students, and gives the TMS family the opportunity to support one another.  If you have a family-run business you would like to include, please complete and return the attached information sheet.

Kindergarten Applications  The school is currently accepting applications for enrollment in the 2018-2019 Kindergarten classes. Students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2018, to be eligible for enrollment in the kindergarten program.  (application attached)
